The Syrian civilian war has gotten completely out of hand. Syria has seen a lot of civilian deaths and the most destructions ever recorded in history.
The Syrian government has targeted the rebel groups resulting in this severe civil war and there is no end in sight as yet. But this is not happening and the end results are tons of detainees jailed unfairly and who are undergoing extreme physical, sexual and emotional abuse behind bars. The cities that were once outstanding in their life and beauty are now desolate and are covered with dead bodies and debris. There are hundreds if not thousands of refugees in the neighboring countries now who have nothing they can.
Iran on the other hand has been known to fund, train and offer weapons to militia and terror groups while harboring them on their soil. Any interference by other countries and humanitarian bodies has been ignored. It hasn’t come out too clearly why Iran is doing this but it is a badly kept secret. The US government has tried to get involved in dissolving this ongoing practice for years without much success. All that everyone knows for now is that Iran has been arming itself for years and that it has heavy and high end weaponry in its possession.
Since the start of the Syrian civil war, Iran has been in the forefront supporting the government under president Assad. Without this support, Assad’s regime would not be what it is today, it would have probably fallen. Iran worked hard to provide whatever the government needed to fight against the rebels in Syria just so that the government is not overthrown. At some point when it seemed like the government would be overthrown and the opposition would take over the country, Iran got into the war head on and mad sure that this wouldn’t happen by providing troops that would protect the government.
When the war just started, Iran helped the government fight but only by offering training for the regime force and also giving them intelligence. After a while, Iran escalated its support by actually sending their own troops to fight in the Syrian civil war. Apart from other types of weapons, Iran also provided chemical weapons for Syria. Iranian scientists were sent to Syria and they were given chemicals they would use to build those chemical weapons.
Because the rebels have taken most of the Iranians cities and boundaries captive, Iran can only use the Syrian air corridor to get the arms into Syria. Iran and Syria have worked to create a safe corridor where they transport these arms. The US government have given Iran the go-ahead to transport these weapons via three airlines. Turkish authorities have stopped trucks that were headed for Syria and found them carrying loads of arms for example machine guns and ammunition.
